Government Arts and Science College Kozhikode is a well known institution of higher learning situated at Meenchanda, Kozhikode, Kerala state of the southern part of India opened in the same year of 1964. This affiliated college comes under a vast area of 20.15 acres of land and gets accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Altogether 2022 students and 95 faculties are currently studying and teaching in the college It provides 20 courses under 6 degrees. Special emphasis is paid to the formation of IT infrastructure as students should be aware of the existing developments. Having cafeteria on campus means that students are able to get foods which are both healthy and cheap. The college possesses an auditorium where different events and seminars are held as well as facilitates the active college life. To cater for the female students who come from distant places a girls’ hostel has been provided to make them comfortable and secure.
The programme at the Government Arts and Science College, Kozhikode is rich and spreads across several departments.
