The college library has a rich collection of books. It has an internet facility available for the students to connect them to the outside world. There is a good collection of Magazines, Newspapers, and Journals, that are being subscribed to by the college library to enhance and update the knowledge of the students.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an A good incomplete without its very own canteen, and GCD is no exception to this. So it goes without saying that the canteen is an inseparable element of the institution. The canteen not only provides a place for physical refreshments but also a place to unwind and relax after a whole day's work. That’s why the canteen remains one of the most favorite places to be on the college campus.

The canteen is run by a private party (group) but that party is chosen through government tender, so only the party with the best quality-quantity-price combination is allowed to run the canteen. Over a fixed period, this tender is again issued, thus a standard quality is always maintained by the party. From fully-fledged lunch to small titbits, tea, coffee, and cold drinks all are provided from the canteen for a very reasonable price

The college provides the premises with ample parking for two-wheelers and four-wheeler vehicles for students and the staff. There is a separate car parking space for students and teachers. The parking lot is at some distance from the academic block. But those who park their vehicles have to abide by certain rules and restrictions. At all times, for instance, speed limit norms need to be followed. Honking horns is strictly prohibited.

The college has an internet facility that has been provided on the college campus and is connected through optical fiber cable as well as a Wi-Fi network. The entire administrative block and entire college premises are partially Wi-Fi enabled. Students have access to the internet through 10 Mbps optical fiber and have 1:1 connectivity. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to classrooms but it extends to every nook and corner of the campus including the library, multipurpose hall, cafeteria, etc. Three Wi-Fi-managed Access Points have been installed on the campus which has enabled the campus students to use the Internet on their Laptops and other electronic gadgets sitting anywhere on the campus.

The college has Smart Classrooms are technology-enhanced classrooms that foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology, such as computers, specialized software, audience response technology, assistive listening devices, networking, and audio/visual capabilities. A smart classroom is where the concept of blended learning is blooming. Smart classrooms are technologically enhanced and enable teaching and learning opportunities like never before! Learning is fun when subjects are interesting, and smart classes are doing exactly that by making the student’s most boring subject palatable. By placing a digital learning technology, equipped with specialized software, assistive listening devices, and audio/visual capabilities in a classroom, one is opening up Pandora's box of infinite methods of teaching, learning, and growing together as a unit.
Govt. College Daulatpur is equipped with a Smart Classroom enriched with a Hi-Fi Smart Touch Screen Projector Screen, audio-visual tools, and having capacity of 100 + seating arrangements at a time.

The college has extra activities for example NSS, and NCC Facilities for all the students

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
