Government College in Kalaburagi, has its origin in the year 1932, and is an autonomous institution that is situated in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. This private co-educational institute is associated with Gulbarga University and provides a comprehensive number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and IT. The college occupies an area of 11.03 acres; it has a total student enrolment of 2,941 and teaching staff of 97. Its postgraduate programmes are M.Com, MA – Economics, Hindi, English, History, M.Sc Computer Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics and Zoology. All programs of study are available in full-time basis only; the undergraduate programmes take three years while the postgraduate programmes take two years at the most  to complete.
