Government College, Malappuram, is known as a historic educational institution in India, located in the city of Kerala. The college adopts a holistic admission process in compliance with the guidelines given in the University of Calicut. The admission process is entirely done through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of the University of Calicut, making sure that students are given a fair and transparent platform to get selected.
The College has adopted UG Centralized Admission Process (UG CAP) for the undergraduate programs while PG admissions are through Post Graduate Centralized Admission Process (PG CAP). Generally, online admissions start in June every year on the Admission Portal of the Directorate of Admission (DoA) of Calicut University.
Normally, admission closes with notices of dates moving for admission in August and September, depending on the quota allocations of the University.
Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com Finance Hons: Admission to the B.Com program is through the UG CAP of Calicut University. The course capacity is sanctioned for 50 students.
BA Urdu: The admission process is through the Calicut University Centralized Admission Process for undergraduate programs. The sanctioned intake for this course is 40 students.
B.Sc Chemistry: Admissions are made possible by the Calicut University Centralized Admission Process for undergraduate programs. The authorized intake for the course is 32 students.
MA Islamic History: Students completing any BA UG Programme can apply through the PG Centralized Admission Process of the University of Calicut. The sanctioned intake for this course is 12 students.
MA History: The course can be applied by candidates who have completed their UG course through the Centralized Admission Process of the University of Calicut. The sanctioned intake is 12 students.
M.Com: Admissions to M.Com through the PG CAP of Calicut University are online, and the registration begins on the web in June every year for the Admission Portal of the Directorate of Admission (DoA) of Calicut University. The capacity allotted to this course is 20 students.
M.Sc Statistics: The admission process commences every year in August. Candidates need to register themselves with the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of the University of Calicut. Selection is carried upon the index mark- priority of the candidate-and the seat availability. The approved intake is 10 students.
