Government College Mohali is a well known landmark educational institution located at Mohali Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab is a college which was established in the year 1984. This co-educational college is affiliated and is located in a 27.8-acre large complex and is accredited by the NAAC. The courses that this college provides are fifteen in number, spread across nine degree programmes The total enrolment of students in this college is 2120 and total faculty strength is 33. Government College, mohali is among the best institutions with man emphasis on offering quality education in different faculties such as arts, commerce, Science and computer applications.

Government College, Mohali provides full detail of all the full-time courses in its programmes in all fields of study. Currently, the college has fifteen under its belt in the form of the 15 courses offered which comprises of undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses. Of these, 9 are bachelor programmes, 5 master programmes and 1 diploma programme. The proposed programmes that will be equipped with computers are; a Bachelor of Arts which will enrol 550 students, a Bachelor of Commerce which will take 138 students, a Bachelor of Computer Applications with an enrolment capacity of 46 students as well as several Master of Science programs in Chemistry or Information Technology or Mathematics with enrollment of 30-40 students each.
