Government College, Munnar was started in 1995 with facility located at the heart of the Kannan Devan Hills in Idukki District of Kerala. This affiliated college has a broad focal area covering all the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to facilitate the education needs of the students in the region. It has a student enrolment of 388 and teaching staff of 24 and ensured that it offered a good learning atmosphere. The institution imparts 7 courses under 5 degree programs of study offered in areas of Economics, Mathematics, Computer Applications Tamil and Commerce. Located at a height of 1532 meters above sea level, the college provides a beautiful opportunity at this campus situated in Munnar surrounded by vast tea gardens.
