About Government College, Nawan
Government College Nawan was started in the year 2019, situated at Nagaur, Rajasthan and is a budding college. Located opposite the old police station this co-educational college provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses. Since its founding, the college has been occupying a campus of only 0.08034 hectares, but it is already considered an important educational institution among colleges. At present, it has 74 enrolment and 11 faculty members, all of whom are committed to teaching. The college teaches fifteen courses under four programmes of study with specialisations in arts, commerce, and sciences.
It has pledged itself to ensure that its environment supplements the learning process of its own students. It includes important infrastructure services which assist in academic activities and holistic learners’ growth. It is a source of information that provides almost everything that can assist the students in their classes. In regards to enabling hands-on skills the college has departmental laboratories accredited with basic tools and equipment. To this end the institution takes the use of technology in the modern day education seriously, by providing excellent IT facilities. For physical fitness and team spirit purposes the buildings equipped with the sports facilities for all students. It also has a health centre for students in their first aid since the college does its best to ensure its students are safe.
The College presently provides as many as 15 courses which include undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education. The undergraduate programmes include onsite programmes, including business administration, commerce, mathematics, and biology among others. At the post graduate level, the college offers Masters of Arts courses in Political Science, History and Geography etc. The classes offered within these programmes are therefore intended to address a wide range of academic and career desirable.
