Government College of Education, Bhiwani, occurred in the year 1973 as one of the frontline teacher education institutions in the state of Harvana, India. It is a co-educational institution that is affiliated with the NCTE. The institute is spread over an area of 10 acres. The primary orientation of the college is toward quality education through teaching, which basically covers a B.Ed. program with 189 students. 

The institution is supported with a whole outside set of modern facilities in its pursuit of academics. A well-equipped computer laboratory with 24-hour access to the Internet will keep students connected and engaged in digital learning. This is a big, air-cooled library with many books, periodicals, and other research material, emerging as a repository of applied knowledge. At the institution level, there are sports facilities, an auditorium for events and seminars, and subject-based laboratories that support practical learning. Gymnasium, Wi-Fi support, Health center with first-aid, etc., facilities add into the health of the students.

Government College of Education, Bhiwani provides two years full-time B.Ed course, and this is the main and upfront course is being offered by the institute. The sanctioned intake of 50 students provides an interactive and focused learning environment. The course is aimed towards equipping the prospective teachers with knowledge, techniques of pedagogy, and skills required for effective classroom teaching.

At Government College of Education, Bhiwani, admission is based on merit and takes into consideration the marks at which the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission policy directed by the state government of Haryana and the concerned affiliating university is being followed.
