Affiliated college, Government College, Pushkar was established in the year 2013, is located in the beautiful town of Ajmer Pushkar in Rajasthan. Located in the premises of Savitri Mata Temple and just across the Khadi Gram Udyog on Kharekhdi Road, MHRTE has been imparting education in the area for almost a decade. Being a government affiliated institution it aims at delivering quality higher education to the students of Pushkar and its neighbouring areas. There is a total of one hundred and thirty four students enrolled in the college with nine members of staff from the teaching faculty. Despite being small in size, the college promises a diligent academic experience with an area of specialisation in Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes.

Government College, Pushkar boasts of providing a number of amenities that seek to improve the learning environment in favour of the students. It is an information centre that offers students many sources of information and literature including academic ones. For the purpose of experiential learning, the college has departmental laboratories, enabling students to put into practice what they may learn their area of specialisation. Hoping to respond to the necessities of the current education, GC Pushkar has also focused the usage of the information technology in the college period and has provided IT facilities to the students. The institution also also gives its student a rounded education by offering sporting amenities to nurture not only the student physically but also foster team spirit among them.

Academic programme wise, it is presently offering under graduate programme for its students and the main course offered by this institution is the Bachelor of Arts (BA) course. This programme is a three-year full time programme with an approved admission capacity of eighty (80) students, which the college has always maintained a reasonable student /facilities ratio. At the moment the college only offers one degree programme but it is in arts and humanities and equips learners to meet the job markets requirement in several fields or to pursue higher education in more specialised area of their interest.

The admission process at Government College, Pushkar is quite simple so that everyone can get admission easily. It may have adopted the admission standard of Rajasthan state higher education department that oversees it since it’s a government-affiliated institution.
