B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce): 96 seats are reserved for B.Com. courses with 2 specializations. Admission is offered on the basis of merit in 10+2, keeping commerce or allied subjects in mind.
M.A. (Master of Arts): Government College, Sundargarh has M.A. courses with 112 seats in 4 specializations: History, Political Science, Odia, and Economics. Admission is usually based on the performance of the candidate in their bachelor's degree.
M.Sc. (Master of Science): The college offers M.Sc. courses with 64 seats in 4 specializations: Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Geology. Admission is merit-based on the candidate's performance in their respective bachelor's degree.
