Government Degree College, Bhaderwah (GDC Bhaderwah) is the government aided college for higher learning started in 1955. This affiliated college is located at Bhaderwah, Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, India and has been imparting education for the last sixty years. It is affiliated to National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Which speaks a lot about the college’s quality criteria. Located on a vast area of 7.7 acres, GDC Bhaderwah provides a plethora of courses to its 5174 admitted students. The college has 36 dedicated faculties and currently offers 7 courses in 6 degrees courses including the specialisations in arts, sciences, computer applications etc.

Courses offered in GDC Bhaderwah are broadly classified to provide students with needed discovery to meet varied interests. The college offers 7 full time courses in different fields of study. These are undergraduate courses offered by different institutions of this country and they include; Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Medical and Non-Medical, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). More so it provides post graduate programmes such as: – Master of Science in Chemistry M.Sc, Master of Arts in Urdu MA. GDC Bhaderwah has the strength of total student intake of 5174, so the college remains active and full of the vibrant atmosphere.
