Government Degree College, Jakhini, was established in the year 1972. It is an affiliated college and its campus is located at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The sprawling campus of this institution covers an area of 5.79 acres. For the last five decades, this institution has been catering to the educational needs of the people of this region. The present student enrolment in the college is 751 and it has faculty support with 19 members.

 Government Degree College, Jakhini provides two undergraduate courses, which ensures the dedication of the institute towards quality provisions in the arts and agriculture fields.
