Kunjwani is one of the emerging institutions today, this institution is Government Degree College, Kunjwani Jammu also known as GDC Kunjwani which was established in the year 2019. This co-educational college is situated in Jammu region of the Jammu and Kashmir state in India and it is affiliated college which provides various under graduate courses. GDC Kunjwani has the strength of 828 students and faculty member 14 which makes our college provide a concentrated learning atmosphere. At the college, 10 courses are provided in 6 degree programmes, including Commerce, Arts, and Sciences.

As it shall be discussed in details, GDC Kunjwani has several facilities to improve the learning facility of its students. The college has well stocked Library with more than 7000 books belonging to different disciplines of knowledge and offers reading room facility. The students also get to access Periodicals, Journals, Magazines and Newspapers. The institution provides for sporting facilities for health and co-curricular activities. The college has positive infrastructural provisions for technologically based learning strategies whereas departmental laboratories offer pragmatic learning requirements. In particular, there are Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Application laboratories where facility of power backup and water supply round the clock has been provided. These labs have touch board and projector to add more interactive session for the students.

The college currently provides about ten courses in total. All programmes are full-time day courses, this is a facts to show that the college has the capability of admitting a number of students in different courses. Among the courses are BA and ,Specialisations in BA, B.Com and one specialisation and B.Sc.
