As you will be knowing that Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) is a well known Doctorate Degree program in Pharmacy. It is also known by the name of Pharma D. It is a 6 years (5 years academic program + 1 year internship) long course.

Moreover, Pharm D’s duration (6 years) is longer than that of B Pharm (4 years). Other than that, Pharm D course focuses more in clinical pharmacy, pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical care as well as health care.

There are 2 formats in which this course is available in India:

• Regular Pharm D program (6 years long)
• Pharm D (Post-Baccalaureate) program (3 years long)

Scope:

Pharm D course will help one get license to practice as a pharmacist in India and abroad. The course prepares students to practice as pharmacist in supervised or independent environments. Some places where one may practice are Government hospitals, Private hospitals, Community health centres, Nursing homes and NGOs.

The chance of getting a free seat in Pherma D is high for your and you also have the special reservation status that is more plus point for you, if you can't get free seat then apply for fee reimbursement if you are eligible, but i think you will get free seat no need to think for second option (like fee reimbursement). Different colleges take different tution fee, starting from 70k to 2lakhs per annum ,

If you get seat through counselling you can have the benefit to apply for fee reimbursement if you belong to any reservation category or economically backward ,

Your rank is suitable to fetch you a seat in pharmD if your belong to BC,SC, ST category, if you belong to Unreseved category then your chances are less.
