Government Degree College, Paderu GDC Paderu is a repute educational institution set up in 1985. The affiliated college, based in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh, has catered to the academic needs of the region for over three decades. Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), GDC Paderu offers undergraduate courses in wide varieties of disciplines. The sprawling campus of 27 acres made the college the ideal learning and growth environment. As of now, the total enrolment is 1,076 students with 558 males and 468 females. At present, the college runs three undergraduate degree programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce, with 9 courses being offered. GDC Paderu offers its students with a properly rounded educational experience.

The college provides with every facility it can, meant for better learning and healthy development of students. The knowledge hub of the college is the library, which houses an abundance of resources for supporting academics as well as lifelong learning of students. For practical learning, the college provides departmental laboratories with all modern equipment and tools. Keeping in view that health is also a very essential component, GDC Paderu offers a gym facility to students to keep their bodies fit. In addition, the college develops active sporting habits among students by offering numerous sports facilities. This develops talents and healthy competitive spirits among the students.

Government Degree College, Paderu offers a rich and inclusive spectrum of academic courses. In all, the college offers 9 undergraduate courses. All of these are full-time undergraduate programs. The courses offered range across three broad streams: Commerce, Arts, and Science. The Commerce stream offers B.Com and B.Com with Computer Applications. The Arts streams are with varied BA programs that have combinations to pick any one from History, Economics, Political Science, Special English, and Special Telugu. The Science Stream offers its B.Sc programs with combinations like Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
