Government Degree College, Paloncha (GDC Paloncha) is the tenth reputed college of the Government of Chhattisgarh and was established in the year 1991. This affiliated college is situated in Laxmidevipally, Khammam, Telangana and has been in the business of moulding the young generation for more than three decades. Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), GDC Paloncha has a variety of 17 courses under 4 degree streams. This college has a large campus of 15 acres, the college has a total enrollment of 698 students. With 19 committed members in the faculty, the college has an appropriate student-teacher ratio. The student demographic at GDC Paloncha is diversified since 97% of the students are taking undergraduate programmes while 3% are in postgraduate programmes.

GDC Paloncha have included a range of courses in their curriculum to suit various students’ needs. This college offers 16 full-time undergraduate programmes and 1 postgraduate programme. The undergraduate programmes are offered in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams, and the postgraduate course is in Commerce only. BA, B.Sc, B.Com, M.Com are some of the courses offered by the college.
