Government Degree College, Paloncha (GDC Paloncha) is the tenth reputed college of the Government of Chhattisgarh and was established in the year 1991. This affiliated college is situated in Laxmidevipally, Khammam, Telangana and has been in the business of moulding the young generation for more than three decades. Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), GDC Paloncha has a variety of 17 courses under 4 degree streams. This college has a large campus of 15 acres, the college has a total enrolment of 698 students. With 19 committed members in the faculty, the college has an appropriate student-teacher ratio.

The college is fully aware of its responsibilities in shaping the student’s learning experience and to this end has put in place a number of amenities to cater for the needs of the students. As a knowledge centre of the institution, the school boasts of a well-lit and stocked library that meets most learning requirements of students. The undergraduate programmes are offered in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams, and the postgraduate course is in Commerce only. BA, B.Sc, B.Com, M.Com are some of the courses offered by the college.
