Government Degree College, Ravulapalem, is a co-educational college situated in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. The 'B' grade accredited college by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) provides a wide spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.A. (History, Economics, and Political Science): The undergraduate course has an enrollment of 60 seats. Selection is made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination with a concentration on subjects pertaining to social sciences and humanities.
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce course also has 60 seats. Commerce or mathematics students at the 10+2 level are eligible to apply. The candidates are chosen on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.
B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry): There is an intake of 40 seats in this science program. Those students who have done mathematics, physics, and chemistry in their 10+2 are eligible. Admission is given on the basis of marks in these subjects.
B.Sc. (Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology): Another 40-seat science course, the student must have studied biology along with chemistry at 10+2. They are selected based on their performance in these two subjects.
B.Com Computer Applications (Self Finance): This specialized commerce course has 40 seats. Commerce background students with computer application aptitude are given preference. Admission can be based on both academic record and any other computer application skills.
M.Sc. Computer Science: Intake for this postgraduate degree is 30 seats. Aspirants should be a B.Sc. degree holder in Computer Science or similar courses. Selection process can include review of the undergraduate marks as well as may consider an entrance examination or an interview.
M.A. Political Science: Providing 30 seats, this postgraduate course is available to graduates of any discipline with a preference for candidates who have studied political science or other social sciences. It might be selected on the basis of undergraduate marks and perhaps an interview.
M.Com: The postgraduate commerce course too has an intake of 30 seats. Those who possess a B.Com or equivalent degree are eligible to apply. The admission process presumably takes into account the marks secured in the undergraduate course.
