GEC Baran or the Government Engineering College, Baran is a comparably young college founded in 2017 in Rajasthan, India. This Institute is a co-educational institute located in Village Batawada, National Highway NH-27 which focuses on delivering quality engineering education. Being an affiliated college of AICTE All India Council for Technical Education GEC Baran provides engineering courses for the interested students. The college, which focuses on technical education presently, admits 70 students and has a faculty of only two, this makes the environment of the institution to provide one-to-one training to the students during their learning process.

The college has fundamental amenities that may enable the students to pursue their work effectively. It therefore plays the role of a knowledge centre where students would get all the information they require and other learning resources.
