GEC Bhuj commences its admission process after the declaration of other entrance examinations. The admission of B.Tech students is by the GUJCET, a state-level examination to gauge the aptitude of candidates for engineering studies. On the other hand, admission into Master's Programs, namely M.Tech, is via maligning of the Gujarat PGCET.

Applications from candidates should be completed before this date to be eligible for admission into GEC Bhuj's B.Tech programs.
The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programs usually state the 10+2 level of study with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the core subject/s. For M.Tech programs, the candidates must usually be holders of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
