Government first grade college bettampady (GFGC Bettampady) also known as girmit is an accredited and co-educational institute established in 1991. Sited in Puttur Taluk of Dakshina Kannada Karnataka, India, it is an affiliated college with a spread of 7.2 acres. 6 of the college courses are taught across the five degree programs offered in the institution to a student enrolment of 494. Taking into account that the institute has 18 faculty members that are dedicated educators, the institute still embraces the student-teacher ratio thus helping the students to get personal attention and instructions.
