Government First Grade College Heggadadevanakote, or abbreviated as GFGC Heggadadevanakote, is situated in Mysore district of Karnataka. This is a co-educational college which was started in 1985 and has prepared young talents for almost four decades. Situated over an area of 7.26 acres of land, GFGC Heggadadevanakote is an affiliated college recognised by the NAAC. The college has a total of 486 students, and 8 faculty members to teach them, meaning that the current student-faculty ratio is quite healthy. At present, the institute provides five undergraduate courses encompassing three domains Arts, Commerce and Management.
GFGC Heggadadevanakote has developed several amenities that improve the quality of learning amongst it students. The shuttle services offered allow students to reach the facility; male and female students can get hostel facilities thereby accommodation is provided to the students who come from remote areas. The campus also includes a health centre having first aid facilities, a canteen for having some snacks and a vast, and a hall for some functions, programmes, and games.
GFGC Heggadadevanakote has a range of full-time undergraduate programmes. This college provides five subjects, three combinations of BA (History, Economics, and Political Science, History Economics and Sociology, and History Economics and Optional Kannada), BBA, B.Com. They are intended to attend various fields of study and different occupation aims. This means that the college takes 486 students in a year to make sure that the student gets the attention they need.
