Government First Grade College, Varthur or GFGC Varthur was set up in the year 2009 in Bangalore in Karnataka. This is a co-education college and it is an affiliated college that provides various number of under graduate courses. Although, GFGC Varthur occupies a very small land area of just 1.5 acres, yet it caters the need of 474 students with the help of 17 members of faculties. As mentioned earlier the college has 6 courses available in four degree programmes with focus on arts, commerce and Science streams.
