GFGCW: Government First Grade Women’s College, Holenarasipura is an esteemed college for women education was set up in 2006. This affiliated college is established in Holenarasipura, Karnataka and is set in a broader and vast area of 3.36 acres. Besides, we have the pleasure to mention that GFGCW has received the accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) what proves our focus on quality. Total 15 courses are taught in the college for total enrolment of 1423 students through eight degree programmes. GFGCW has a faculty strength of 19 dedicated faculties to help students create a fostering environment within the academic sections and extracurricular activities.

The college possesses great variability of facilities to provide the students with the improved learning process. Essentials of these amenities include a fully stocked library service, with additional libraries for undergraduates and postgraduates studies. These libraries are Bar coded/OPAC equipped with ELIB, a library management software system which allows efficient book circulation Arbitrary. Available well-equipped modern laboratories exist in respect of different departments so the students can apply their knowledge. IT facilities are sound, there are computer resources facilitating computer based learning.

In this regard, GFGCW has been exceptional by offering hostel facilities with designing separate sections for SC, ST and OBC students by the Department of Social Welfare & the Department of Backward Community & Minorities, Govt. of Karnataka respectively. 

Pursuing education in various disciplines full-time courses at Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels are offered by GFGCW. The implemented curriculum includes arts, commerce, science and computer applications streams.
