Government Girls College Chomu was set up in the year 1999 and is an affiliated college at Chomu, Rajasthan. Located on Moriza Road, behind the Power House, this institution has provided education to young woman for more than two decades. The grounds of the college cover five point zero one acres, allowing the students to develop in considerable territory. The college currently has a student population of 2,283 and faculty of 31 this makes our student teacher ratio favorable thus being able to offer personalised attention. 

The college has made available a number of amenities that are used to improve the concoctions that are offered in college. The library has a special recognition in being a knowledge centre that has a vast stock of course materials also, subscription with competitive exam magazine such as ‘Competition Success Review’ as well as ‘Pratiyogita Darpan’ both Hindi and English editions. IT facilities of the college comprise a computer lab with 15 interconnected computers with licensed software to familiarise the students with Information Technology. For our students, we have a cafeteria that provides healthy meals with option for students who are in the sports’ activities as well as National Skill and Service. Sophisticated analytical laboratories exist to meet the practical learning requirements of different departments. The college also has a girls’ hostel facility to help out-station students have a comfortable place to stay safely. Other facilities from the hotel include Internet connection, medical facility, an Alumni Association, and ample parking.

Government Girls College, Chomu provides all level academic courses to its students. The institution offers 8 full time progammes which include Undergraduate and post graduate programmes. In the under graduation, students can take the course like BA, B.Com, B.Sc Maths Group, B.Sc Bio Group. At postgraduate level, the college provide courses like MA in History, Hindi & political science, M.Sc Chemistry. All these courses are full-time in their nature, so that students can have proper understanding of the matters under the course curriculum.
