The GITT, or Government Institute of Textile Technology, Guntur, is an independent institute coming into existence in 1986 to develop talent in the fields of textile technology. This affiliated college is situated in Guntur in the region of Andhra Pradesh and works under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approval. GITT is a small institute established on a narrow and limited land area of 4 acres to provide a specific learning atmosphere to budding textile professionals. It has also grown to accommodate 140 students and is staffed by 8 instructors, making the institute have an attractive student-teacher ratio that enhances quality service delivery.
