Government J. Thankima College, Aizawl commonly recognised as GJTC is a leading institute in the filed of higher education in Mizoram. This affiliated college was started in 1992, and it has been preparing the younger generation for more than 30 years. Being established in the beautiful city of Aizawl, this college has a small campus area of 1.26 acres which provides close interaction among Students and teachers. Our College, GJTC has achieved the NAAC accreditation that is a proof for its aim in providing quality education. As of now, the college has 591 students and 38 members in the faculty This college offers an intimate academic setting in 9 courses and 3 degrees offered in arts and business administration.

For the students who seek to be accommodated GJTC has stated provided hostels for boys and girls with basic facilities included. North Campus boys hostel can accommodate 30 students and the South Campus girls hostel can accommodate 25 students. Sport lovers will be able to engage in most of their favourite games due to the availability of sports facilities of the college. They ensure about health through first aid facility through college health centre . The facilities in this complex are comprehensively proved by the IT structure connects students in this digital society while the canteen services refresh and creates social focal point. GJTC has humongous variety of full- time courses for students to over different subjects and fields of study. At the moment, the college offers nine undergraduate courses these being Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a number of options- English Hons, Mizo Hons, Economics Hons etc. and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). These courses are intended to produce graduates who have theoretical knowledge as well as skills for future employment or for advancement to the next level.
