Government Law College, Sri Ganganagar was set up in the year 2005 at Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, and affiliated to Rajasthan University. This institution specializes in legal education, offering two full-time courses: LLB and LLM Self Finance. The college is spread on mere 2.09916 acres of land; it has full intakes of 352 and 7 faculty members. The programme Bachelor of Laws (LLB) takes three years to complete it’s an undergraduate level programme and Master of Laws (LLM) Self Finance is a postgraduate level programme of two years. Therefore with an approved student intake of 20 students, the nature of a LLM programme is necessary as a specialized postgraduate programme. The total number of seats for offering the LLB programme is unclear, but based on the college total strength of 352 students, there is a large participation in this core law course. Ideally placed to foster such learning, these programmes are designed to afford the student a sound theoretical background in law as well as practical skills through facilities such as the Moot Court.
