Lawngtlai College is an affiliated college of the government established in the year 1980 situated at Lawngtlai, Mizoram. This institution is located on 13.2 acres and has a rich academic focus providing a number of undergraduate degree programmes in arts. The college has total strength of 342 students and faculty of 26 members, hence one can dare to refer it as an ideal learning place. Government Lawngtlai College provides education in 9 courses under 1 degree namely Bachelor of Arts from different discipline. While selecting students for admission into first year of the College, availability is open through Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) for under graduate courses across many Universities in India. CUET UG is the mandatory test and every candidate who wants to join the university has to take this exam Their performance in the test significantly affects admission decisions. Though there is no particular date given for the admission, it is recommended for the candidates to follow the CUET UG examination and the college or the university’s admission schedule which is almost in accordance with Mizoram University to which the college is affiliated to.
