Government Leather Institute Kanpur (GLI Kanpur) is one of the pioneering institutions in leather technology in India, established in 1916. GLI Kanpur is affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. GLI Kanpur offers a variety of courses, including a diploma in Leather Technology (TANNING), a diploma in Leather Technology Footwear (CASD), and a post graduate diploma in Accountancy with a focus on Computerised Accounts and Taxation.
