Government Maharaj Acharya Sanskrit College Jaipur was instituted in 1852 is one of the oldest college. UMDA is an amalgam of Marudhar Engineering & Polytechnic & Venus B.ed & Polytechnic college was established at Jaipur Gandhi Nagar Circle Near Mahatma Gandhi Marg campus area around 1.5 acres Co-educational. This college teaches 7 classes under two programmes related to Sanskrit literature, philosophy and Indian traditional knowledge system. The college has a total of 868 students and faculties are 18 in number which makes the atmosphere of learning intensive.
The Government Maharaj Acharya Sanskrit College has organised facilities that are inculcated in the ambience of the college to facilitate the learning process of the students. Some of the amenities that are found in this college include the Like any other college, this college has facilities like an auditorium for meetings and seminars, first aid health centre for patients, College classrooms that are semiserious adapted to facilitate learning. Furthermore, the institution fosters extra curriculum activities including the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
