Hi

Actually, there's nothing like mbbs gynaecology. Mbbs is just a simple undergraduate medical degree course, there's no specialisation in it . For specialisation you will have to pg i. e for becoming a Gynaecologist you will have to do Md/ Ms Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Here's a brief of how you can become a Gynaecologist :-

* For becoming a gynaecologist, you need to become a doctor first and for that you need to do MBBS

*Admission in Mbbs is through NEET examination, in order to be eligible for neet you must pass your 12th with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or at least 45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st to be eligible for neet.

*Appear for Neet examination and qualify it

*Then attend counselling and then on the basis of marks or Rank obtained by you in NEET examination you will get a seat for MBBS in a medical college .

* After the completion of MBBS, you need to appear for PG entrance examination, currently, some of the PG entrance examinations include:-

-) Neet PG ,

-) AIIMS PG

-)JIPMER PG.

Gmch assam offersMS Obstetrics and Gynaecology, admission in which is through neet PG

* if you clear PG entrance examination then to become a gynaecologist on the basis of rank obtained by you in the examination you can get a seat in MD/ MSObstetrics and Gynaecology

* Pursue yourMD/ MSObstetrics and Gynaecology and after itscompletion you can practice as a Gynaecologist

* you can even go for super specialisation in surgery like M. Ch i. e Magister Chirurgiae Obstetrics and Gynaecologyor DMObstetrics and Gynaecology.
