Government Model Residential Polytechnic, Utnoor, started in 2014, is an affiliated college and was established in Laltekdi, Utnoor, Adilabad District, Telangana. This institute was recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) that provides diploma in technical education. The polytechnic is established and located on a large piece of land of about 29.16 acres to make sure that the students get optimal grounds on which they may exercise their learning fully. An intake of 234 students is planned with 3 faculties desired to provide personal attention by maintaining the quality of the institute.

Government Model Residential Polytechnic has several facilities to improve the student outcomes and experiences as well as supplement their learning. Separate hostels for boys and girls have been provided on the campus in order to make residential students comfortable. At present,Government Model Residential Polytechnic, Utnoor, has two full time diploma courses ranging for three academic years. The institute offers Diploma in Electrical and Electronics and also offers Diploma in Mechanical. The two programmes equally has an approved enrolment of 60 bodies each giving the overall capacity of 120. These courses are offered to make sure that the learners are taught technical content that they need to master in the various fields in order to obtain employment or advance to the next level in the market.
