Government Nagrik Kalyan Mahavidyalaya, Durg (GNKM Ahiwara) is a co-educational college. It provides different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The bachelor's degree in arts at GNKM Ahiwara is with an intake of 200 students. Admission will be strictly based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination of 10+2. The college offers various subject combinations under the BA program, enabling students to choose their desired combination.

B.Com: Intake capacity for Bachelor of Commerce program is approved with 150 numbers of students only. Admission for B.Com course will be only to the candidates having Commerce group at 10+2 or equivalent to it. Qualifying examinations marks are usually the criteria for selection.

B.Sc Biology: GNKM Ahiwara offers B.Sc Biology with an approved intake of 75 students. Admission to this program is open to candidates who have passed 10+2 with subjects like Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Selection is done based on marks obtained in these subjects and overall performance in the qualifying examination.

B.Sc Mathematics: B.Sc Mathematics program also has an approved intake of 75 students. Students must have studied Mathematics in their 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry. Admission is given through marks obtained in these subjects and total performance in the qualifying exam.

M.Com: An intake of 50 students for the Master of Commerce program of GNKM Ahiwara is approved. The candidates for admission to M.Com should be B.Com pass or equivalent passed from a recognized university. Selection may be through performance in graduation and/or any entrance test/ interview.
