Government PG College was established in the year 2004 and is one of the prime higher learning centres attached to Government PG College, Avas Vikas Colony, LIC Road, Budaun, Uttar Pradesh. The campus spreads over 3.553 acres of land and houses myriad undergraduate and postgraduate courses. With a total strength of 1,936 students and a complementing faculty of 19, this college offers immense scopes for the students both in academics as well as personal grooming.

It has also been provided with several infrastructures to facilitate learning as an added quality of the college students. The most important facility it possesses in this regard is an extremely well-stocked library having over 6,000 books. This becomes quite useful while undertaking comprehensive research required during the academic stint and personal enrichment. The institution also possesses specific departmental labs whereby the students can enjoy the fruits of practical knowledge and hands-on experience in their specific field of study.

 This college caters to those people that have an interest in sports and physical fitness through sporting facilities that encourage a balanced academia and co-curricular life. The Government PG College, Budaun, provides an extensive range of courses. Thus, 10 courses offer undergraduate and postgraduate levels to the students. BA, B. Sc in Mathematics and Biology groups, B. Com programmes are there at undergraduate level. Besides Master of Commerce, M. Com, the master of Arts MA programmes are also offered at the college level in the subjects of English, Urdu, Sociology, Political Science, and History. All these courses are two-year, full-time regular courses to equip students with overall knowledge and skill in the concerned subjects. 

Altogether, the college receives 1,936 students in all the courses across its programs. The college accepts students in numerous programmes offered by the institution; it does both under-and postgraduate degrees. These vary in their academic backgrounds and also in the different aspirations of the careers that students have.
