Government Pharmacy College Rakkar was established in 2019 as a constituent college located at Rakkar, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. This is a fairly young institution focused on pharmaceutical education, and it works after receiving the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This college occupies a small piece of ground measuring 2.5 acres, and the present position is that it has 58 students and 10 teaching faculty. On the campus where we are located, there is a cafeteria to supply the needs of students and staff, and there is also a guest room/waiting room for the visiting faculty and students’ families. The college also sees student wellbeing as important, particularly in a health centre that offers first aid facilities.

Government Pharmacy College, Rakkar, currently offers one full-time course: In particular, this work considered the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) programme. The four-year undergraduate programme primarily aims at developing human resources in pharmaceutical sciences. The intake capacity of the programme has been approved for 60 seats, and the college maintains a proper student-faculty ratio for better teaching and learning processes.
