Aurad Government Polytechnic was established in 2009 at Aurad in Karnataka and is an affiliated college. At present, this AICTE approved technical institution provides a number of diploma programmes in different fields of engineering. Currently, the institute has a registered number of 157 students and a faculty of 13 members which make the learning atmosphere controlled. Government Polytechnic, Aurad extends six diploma courses all of which are regular duration and covers the Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Automation and Robotics Engineering along with Alternate Energy Technologies.
