Government Polytechnic Bagodar is an affiliated college situated at Manjhladih, Jarmune in district, Giridih, Jharkhand, India. It is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which governs the standard of technical-cutting institutions in India. Though the year of establishment is not mentioned, the college has firmly made a status of a reputed educational institution in diploma level technical education in the region.

Government Polytechnic at Bagodar has various infrastructural facilities that will provide supplementary facilities to the students during learning. The total number of students for all the courses is 300 and Department of Mechanical Engineering has the largest capacity for students with 120 Students while the other three programmes have 60 students’ capacity each. These included diverse courses so that students can choose speciality that is relevant to their wishes and future occupation in the sphere of engineering.
