About Government Polytechnic, Bellary
Government Polytechnic Bellary (GPT Bellary) has a long history dating back to 1937 when it was established by the name of Government Industrial School. It was renamed to its present name in 1953. GPT Bellary is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education Bangalore. GPT Bellary courses include diploma in engineering courses in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, metallurgical engineering, automobile engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science engineering.
