Government Polytechnic, Bindki, was established in the year 2016. It is a co-ed institution affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, an AICTE approved institution. Total students enrollment is 367 with faculty strength of 13. Institute offers three programs in specialized fields. Government Polytechnic, Bindki is focused towards quality technical education for students to serve themselves in their careers in various engineering disciplines.

The institute provides students with many facilities to uplift them academically and personally. The library is the knowledge hub that carries out its content of knowledge, which may help them research and study more about the subject. State-of-the-art laboratories provide hands-on experience, supplementing theoretical learning. The IT infrastructural setup of the college keeps all students connected and with access to all digital learning tools. For the students who wish to stay, boys and girls' hostels are designed separately with the proper comfort. Three full-time diploma programs are provided by Government Polytechnic, Bindki, that is, three years each. A total of 180 seats are present in the institute. These programs are skill-oriented and theoretically focused towards granting students in specific fields. The program conducted is Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Automobile Engineering, and Diploma in Paint Technology, of which each category intake is 60 students.
