Government Polytechnic College in Aranthangi was inaugurated in 1981, and It is one of the premier vocational establishments situated in the Tamil Nadu of India. This co-educational institute, affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), was chartered to offer diploma courses in many fields of engineering. Located in a campus area of 49.42 acres, this college offers education to a total of 1289 students and 4 faculties. As an affiliated college, it offers 9 courses in 1 degree programme, being Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering disciplines.
