Government Polytechnic College, Baikunthpur, was established in the year 2010; it is affiliated to Koriya district, Chhattisgarh. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) technical approved institution offers diploma programs in engineering disciplines. The spacious 12.5-acre campus accommodates a total student enrolment of 259 and is well staffed by 12 dedicated staff members. The institute offers three full-time diploma courses, each three years in duration, in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.
