The Government Polytechnic College situated at Simariya Taal, Dabra, District Gwalior (M.P.) was established in 1996. This technical institution is AICTE approved which provides the standard education in the field of engineering. The college provides three diploma courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Currently, the institute has 5 dedicated professionals on the faculty list, and its goal is to produce technically skilled engineers.

Government Polytechnic College established in the year 1997 at Dabra was offering three full time diploma courses in three major disciplines. All programmes take a duration of three years and in their completion, students are guaranteed of a brilliant future in their areas of specialisation. The college offers intake capacity of 150 students in each course; Diploma in computer science and engineering, Diploma in electrical engineering, and Diploma in electronics and telecommunications engineering, 60 students and 30 students each respectively. These different programmes provide a variety of interests within the engineering major so that students can select a course of their choice.
