Government Polytechnic College, Jalore was set up in 2011 in Pali district of Rajasthan state, is affiliated to Rajasthan University. This technical institution recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers only diploma in engineering disciplines. Having an annual total student enrolment capacity of 35 and a faculty of 14 members the college is an intellectual nicety of academic setting. The institute has four full –time diploma courses Football Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering each for a period of three years. They are Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Interior Decoration and Diploma in Electronics Engineering. All these programmes have intake of 30 students, making the overall per course seats to be 90. This focused approach results in the college being able to provide small classes that could make it easier to address needs of students, faculty member and student interaction.
