Government Polytechnic College Kannur also known as GPC Kannur is the oldest polytechnic college in the state was instituted in the year 1958. This affiliated college is situated in Thottada, Kannur Kerala and has emerged as one among the leading technical education institution. Affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), GPC Kannur has a plethora of scope for diploma courses. It has around 974 student intake and 36 faculty members and thus has all the potential to provide overall development environment. Out of these six specializations, apart from the general diploma course, GPC Kannur offers six diploma courses that are specifically carved out to cater to the current needs of the Industry to produce effective professional for different engineering disciplines.
Government Polytechnic College owns many fine facilities that help the learning environment in the college.
