Government Polytechnic College, Kelwara, the college of technical education was set up in 2019 at Shahbad, Baran district of Rajasthan. This affiliated college is approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which provide good education in the stream of engineering. The institute is situated in a 10-acre land and at present the students enrolled with the institute is 42 and faculty members are 4 in number. There are four diploma courses offered by the college in different engineering streams, to meet the technical needs of technician level professionals in the country.

The Government Polytechnic College has installed several teaching aids to accommodate the different aspects of learning to the different students. College library is an essential source of information, and it provides all the necessary educational material.
