Government Polytechnic College Nedumangad was established in 1999 its is basically a Technical College located at Thiruvananthapuram, KERALA. This affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers more number of Diploma courses in engineering disciplines. The college currently has a facility of 20 committed members of the faculty who deliver quality technical education to engineering students. The institute provides three full-time diploma courses, duration of the courses are 03 years respectively in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Hardware Engineering.

The Government Polytechnic College has a number of facilities that are believed to contribute to development of the students’ learning process. A reference library forms the knowledge base of the organization while other departmental laboratory forms practical component necessary in technical education. The campus includes an auditorium for holding meetings and deliveries of seminars contributing to the establishment of the progressive spirits of the campus. Government Polytechnic College, Nedumangad, is a technical institution situated in Thiruvananthapuram in the Kerala State of India. The college is a recognized All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) institution, imparting diploma courses in the different disciplines of engineering. The college admission system at the Government Polytechnic College, Nedumangad has been designed so that aspiring students can approach the system with relative ease.

The college would normally open for admission for the new academic year around the months of June and July. As a government institution, it follows the centralized admission procedures formed by the Kerala state government for admission into polytechnic courses. The Directorate of Technical Education Kerala usually undertakes the admission to all government and aided polytechnic colleges throughout the state.

Except for the admission tools, and normally, the scores for admission are placed on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10th standard).     • Recent passport-size photographs

  4. Application Fee: Candidates must pay the specified application fee through the modes specified by DTE Kerala (usually online payment is an option).

  5. Merit List: After that, they will prepare the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by DTE Kerala.

  6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: The selected students shall be called for general counseling, where they shall select their most preferred course and college based on their merit rank in comparison to the seats available.

  7. Confirmations of Admission: The initial candidates at the Government Polytechnic College in Nedumangad must report back to the College for document verification and payment of fees within the provided time frame to finalize their acceptance into the institution.

  • Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering: The Computer Hardware Engineering, a full-time Diploma of 3 years, is with an intake of 50 students. Admission is based on 10th standard marks, with special weight given to Mathematics and Science results. The course contains computer hardware components, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
