The Government Polytechnic College Palakkad was started in 1980 and is one of the leading Polytechnic college in Kodumbu Palakkad – Kerala. This affiliated college for BTech and approved by AICTE, has been moulding the young engineers for the next four decades. The college has a total enrolment of 983 students and a diverse faculty of 35, where the college offers numerous diploma courses of engineering disciplines. It has six full-time diploma courses for students and each of them indicates its commitment to technical education to prepare the students for variable industrial world by offering them relevant theoretical knowledge as well as practical exposures.
Government Polytechnic College Palakkad has available various resources that aid in the education process of students in college.
