Government Polytechnic College, Thanjavur, was started functioning from the academic year 2016-17, situated in Ragunathapuram, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICT E) of Government of India provides a number of diploma courses in engineering streams. The college occupies a small area of 4.06 acre with an overall intake capacity of 747 students and faculty of 8. Since it’s an institute of technical education the institute offers five full time diploma courses, each of the course duration is 3 years specialising in different fields of engineering.
