Government Polytechnic Daniya, Almora is a technical institution established in the year 2013. It is set amidst the scenic district of Almora in Uttarakhand. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, offers AICTE-approved diploma programs in Engineering disciplines. The institute occupies a compact area of 4 acres and currently has a total enrolment of 34, supported by 5 faculty members.

Government Polytechnic Daniya, Almora offers a focused curriculum with two full-time diploma programs. Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering. Every program has an approved intake of 30 students hence, there are a total of 60 seats annually for both programs combined. The institute offers three-year courses with the aim of providing the students with a sound base in the respective fields, which eventually helps them have prosperous careers in the engineering sector.
