Government Polytechnic for Women Nizamabad is an elite Women Polytechnic in Kanteshwar, Nizamabad, Telangana which was set up in year 1985.  This institute gets its approval from the Technical Education Council (AICTE) and offers only two types of diplomas and the total intake of the students is 331. The polytechnic has well qualified faculty members, 11 in strength, and thus has a low student faculty ratio which ensures individual attention to all students.

Government Polytechnic for Women boasts of a list of facilities that cultivate the learning process and development of the students. Our academic offering for the future institute comprises of Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering for 50 students each programme approval. These courses are well coordinated to provide students with cutting edge techniques and hands on experience as the engineering environment changes rapidly. Number of students enrolled across every course is 331 and the institute maintains discipline of admission to ensure the overall capacity is not crossed.
